Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity, and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
Since Delta Sigma Pi is a Co-Ed international business fraternity, we consider all members a brother no matter their gender. We are more than a student-led organization, we are a brotherhood! It seems weird at first, but you'll get the hang of it.
Since Delta Sigma Pi is an international organization, we are subject to pay national dues each semester to help fund the non-profit in running at a large scale. We also plan for special events and company tours, which costs additional money as well.
Pre-COVID we planned a Chicago Trip each spring to tour companies and have fun, so we hope to do that again soon!
Delta Sigma Pi has a formal recruitment process that happens at the beginning of each semester. The recruitment timeline is 7-8 weeks. The first two weeks of recruitment are activities to get to know the chapter for potential recruits and bonding among our current members. Following those two weeks, recruits have 5-6 weeks to work through interactive modules between the Pledge Ceremony and Initation.
Delta Sigma Pi is an open atmosphere for you to test your skills and develop as a professional before graduation! DSP is open to all business majors which allows for a diverse group of people to interact with and get to know. Have the chance to network with your peers along with local companies to get your foot in the door as an aspiring business professional. Leave your legacy with DSP and develop long-lasting friendships with the brothers in the fraternity!
